Katie Thompson

Katie Thompson has been with Deering Management Group since 2009. Prior to joining the organization, Katie worked 11 years in Portland, Oregon, with companies focusing on their business development, community involvement, public relations, and financial strategy. She currently oversees a portfolio of office, retail, and industrial properties in Portland, Salem and the surrounding areas. Her experience includes property management, tenant/vendor relations and financial oversight. Her goals are to maintain occupancy rates while maximizing the client’s return on their investment.
Katie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing and Advertising Management. She has been an active supporter of CAB (Commercial Association of Brokers) and is currently a CAB Director on the Portland Board. In addition, she represents the commercial interests of her local community by working as a Director on the John’s Landing Commercial Areas Association Board. Katie has served on the Executive Leadership Team for Go Red for Women, the American Heart Association’s global initiative to end heart disease and stroke in women, since 2019.
